What does the future of hotel design hold for us?
A few days ago, at the ME Madrid Reina Victoria Hotel, a round table was held where architects and interior designers specialised in the hotel industry gathered to discuss and share ideas about the sector’s design trends. One of the conclusions shared by the participants is that hotel design is changing at a dizzying pace, leaving behind concepts that are neutral and to everyone's taste, to converting personalized spaces with their own identity and based on a specific theme. Customer experience, the ability to surprise and exclusivity were some of the most popular ideas from the debate. "The client remembers [...]

Why do “themed” hotels guarantee high occupancy?
The hotel sector continues to grow (18% in the last 10 years). This fact involves an increase in competitiveness (price, innovation, "experience",...) and in the difficulty to differentiate and position accommodation and a brand in the mind of the tourist. If to this we add the presence and market share of collaborative hosting platforms, we are facing a framework in which creativity plays an important role in maintaining a good occupancy rate. The objective of "identifying specific groups of guests to become fans of the hotel or the chain"; is the premise shared by experts in the sector: "We have [...]

This impressive Arctic hotel will produce more energy than it consumes
The first “energy positive” hotel will be built on the Arctic circle. The building is designed to generate energy autonomously and to even produce more than it needs. Its name, Svart meaning “black” in Norwegian, is related to its future location. The ecological hotel will be constructed at the foot of one of the largest glaciers in Norway, Svartisen, “the black glacier”. It will be 100% sustainable; using solar panels and strategic positioning, the building will create its own energy, consuming 85% less compared to a modern, standard hotel. The walls will be heated with geothermal wells and all the [...]

New hotel project in Russia
We’re pleased to be able to tell you about a new project that we’re developing on the coast of the Black Sea in Russia; a family-oriented aquatic-leisure area located in a hotel complex in the city of Gelendzhik. As such, domestic tourism increased 25% in 2014, 18% in 2015, 15% in 2016 and 12% in 2017. According to [...]
