A water park consists of a play area in which various water attractions are installed, including, typically, slides, wave pool, lazy river, etc. Until today: our extensive experience in the waterpark design and construction, as well as our efforts in the research and development of new products, have helped us to turn the traditional water park concept upside down. The result is RiverLagoons or, in other words, the world’s first water park whose design is based on an artificial river.
RiverLagoons recreates the nature of a river, along which the typical attractions of a water park are integrated. Slides, playground equipment, lagoons, etc., are strategically distributed in an enveloping river landscape made up of waterfalls, beaches, pools, shallow areas and rapids. The river gently transports users on floats, on a route amongst abundant vegetation, artificial rocks and waterfalls, to the place of their choice, whether it is one of the water leisure activity areas or the gentle and relaxing slope of a beach.
In this way, the public’s experience in a water park is transformed and made more immersive. Without getting out of the water, visitors can ride the various attractions, be gently pulled into the pools or navigate the narrower areas, where the water speed increases and there are rapids and small waves, or land on a beach where they can relax and sunbathe.
Now, with the transformation of the waterpark concept that defines RiverLagoons, everything revolves around the water and the river. Restaurants, shops and rides are arranged around it. Specific activity areas, waterfalls, beaches, slides, etc., in addition to children’s islands and shallow areas with interactive games, are located along its course. Everything to enjoy water and nature, just like in a real natural river. RiverLagoons offers resources for relaxation and recreation for adults, fun for youngsters, or play and interaction for children. RiverLagoons is a departure from the traditional water park and a new outdoor experience for everyone.
