Sometimes it is useful to place an emphasis on a space and to mark meeting and gathering areas, so that they are conspicuous for tourists, visitors or citizens in general. This is often the case, for example, at conferences, on tourist routes, at airports, in shopping centres, in theme parks, or in public places for leisure and tourism in general. With this purpose in mind, that of emphasising the space and attracting the attention of the public, Amusement Logic presents a new design. This is Meeting Point Shader, a twisted prismatic tubular structure whose volumetry is enclosed by tensioned canvases.
Meeting Point Shader is a lightweight element adaptable to any project or event, with a variety of configurations. Indeed, the canvas can be provided in any imaginable combination of colours, or serve as a support for customised digital prints depending on the location or event. At the same time, its articulated central knot system allows the twisted prism of the Meeting Point Shader structure to be made thinner or thicker, depending on the needs of the project or the space available. Finally, it is possible to add backlighting for night-time use.
The Meeting Point Shader design has an overhang that can serve, depending on the climatic conditions of the location, as protection against the sun’s rays or rain. These cantilevers or visors can be installed at different heights and at different angles, thus offering, in addition to many other features, different aesthetic appearances. Designed for incorporation with tensioned fabric, they can also be created with rigid materials. In this case, they can also be fitted with solar panels, therefore providing Meeting Point Shader with an additional function: as a source for recharging electronic devices. The power supply will also provide self-sufficiency in terms of lighting at night.
All in all, Meeting Point Shader is a perfect piece of street furniture for landmarks at conferences, tourist routes, airports, shopping centres, theme parks and other places for leisure and tourism. Its unmistakable silhouette, accompanied by graphics or just colour, will be visible from a distance as a unique and eye-catching element.
