We present DinoPad, a new line of children’s games inspired by the world of dinosaurs and based on three-dimensional puzzles. Our designers have synthesised the figures of the dinosaurs most popular with kids; the tyrannosaurus, triceratops, diplodocus, stegosaurus, and so on. Then, starting from their minimum expression, we have divided the mythical animals into pieces and then assembled them. The result is a series of symbolic and highly evocative dinosaurs, which kids will identify as soon as they see them. It’s easy to imagine children raising their hands and pointing to each figure: Look, a triceratops! And that’s a tyrannosaurus, grrrr! How about the diplodocus, I’m going to climb on it! To complete the unique environment of the DinoPad, we have added palm trees and other elements such as rocks, designed on the same principles.
Kids will become explorers of the Earth’s primitive jungles, in an imaginary way, as the figures only suggest the shape of dinosaurs. The children will first recognise these shapes and then name them. So the game on the DinoPad becomes doubly symbolic: on the one hand, the little adventurers invent their own characters and represent the stories they imagine; on the other hand, the 3D figures, not being realistic, represent the dinosaurs themselves, they’re their symbols, so the kids will give them flesh and skin, sounds and actions. Therefore, the great power of this new children’s game to stimulate children’s imagination is evident. The DinoPad also stimulates physical exercise and psychomotor skills among adventurers. Climbing, jumping over their backs, crawling to get under their heavy bellies, running to escape from a pretend chase, hiding… They will invent new ways to have fun and exercise their physical skills.
The DinoPad children’s game is made of an assembly of polyurethane-coated 3D-Tech parts. It is an easy-to-install children’s attraction, either dry or aquatic, for hotels and resorts, campsites, water parks, adventure and theme parks, shopping centres, amongst other tourist, leisure and free time developments.
