Splash Pads are such popular and well-known attractions that they have become a classic attraction in hotels and resorts, campsites, water parks, shopping centres and other public places. Whilst their construction is not an overly complicated process, once the design has been drawn up, they do require a minimum of civil works and technical equipment to be installed. Additionally, traditional Splash Pads are attractions that are permanently linked to their location. This is irrespective of the conditions for their operation, be it in terms of changes in the number of visitors or the changing weather conditions due to the passing of the seasons. Amusement Logic has developed a new concept for the popular tourist attraction with the idea of freeing it from these conditions. This is the demountable modular Splash Pad.
According to this innovative concept, the Splash Pads are made up of the same elements from our extensive catalogue, including water jets, showers, games and other figurative and playful components. However, the surface onto which all these elements are anchored is no longer a civil engineering structure, but a platform that is divided into sections or modules for subsequent assembly. At the same time, all the necessary hydraulic installations are provided for and pre-installed in the lower part of each of these modular platforms. After their design and prefabrication, the Splash Pad modules are transported to the location and assembled.
For its operation, only the connection to the electrical and hydraulic services will be necessary, and the provision of a drain to collect and recirculate the water. The motors and other electrical and hydraulic elements will also be pre-installed in a small compartment to which the Splash Pad will be connected. The attraction is then ready to liven up the season in a hotel or resort, a campsite, a water park, a shopping centre or a public park.
In addition to the advantages of prefabricated construction, which improves energy efficiency and reduces debris and delivery times, the demountable modular Splash Pads have other benefits. They can be easily dismantled and moved from one location to another, or stored at the end of the tourist season, which also reduces maintenance requirements. The fact that it can be disassembled is a particularly useful potential in environments with pronounced climatic differences between seasons, as Splash Pads are, after all, water attractions. So, any tourist or leisure area, be it a hotel or resort, campsite, shopping centre or other public place, can offer a refreshing attraction during the warmer months and then use the space for other purposes.
