When several people sit on a bench in a public space, it automatically becomes an urban bubble with a certain degree of privacy in the middle of the urban exterior. So, at Amusement Logic we have taken this fact as a starting point to develop a new bench concept.
With this new concept, we give greater versatility to the aforementioned bubble, in such a way that, with a simple rotation movement, we convert the seats into support tables. With this, users can place their food, bags, portable devices, etc. on a safe surface… We have managed to extend the functionality of urban benches, making them useful not only for sitting in public parks, but also as support surfaces in eating areas, or as work or play spaces in parks, squares, etc., at times of maximum occupation. This bench 2.0 is a new public bench that gives greater meaning to the urban bubble that is produced when two or more people gather around it.
