A historically themed hotel or resort offers guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in a remote era of history. Every detail, every room, every corner should be inspired by the chosen era to tell a believable story and create a real, unique and unforgettable experience. For example, a medieval themed hotel will feature hand-carved wooden furniture and wrought iron details. On the other hand, a themed hotel that takes us back to the 1920s will feature chandeliers and Art Deco furniture pieces.

These types of hotels and resorts not only offer accommodation, but become destinations in their own right. After all, walking through their doors is a complete experience. In addition to careful theming, they often offer activities related to the era to which they are dedicated, from special culinary evenings to atmospheric shows.

Taking the example given above, a medieval themed hotel will offer chivalry shows and banquets with period details. On the other hand, a hotel themed after the 1920s will organise evenings with a jazz orchestra in front of a Lindy Hop dance floor. All to make guests’ stay memorable and meaningful.
