Collaborative cloud platforms for BIM (Building Information Modelling) methodology, allow construction team members to access the project, its documents and its updated and centralized data in one place, in real time and from any location.
Its advantages include the security that comes from protecting information and document control. All of this results in better coordination and fluid collaboration between team members. By optimizing processes and streamlining workflows, it reduces construction times and associated costs. Finally, it improves construction efficiency and, in general and as a consequence, the capacity for innovation in the sector.
The following are the main BIM platforms in the cloud:
–Autodesk Construction Cloud: this platform integrates design, coordination and construction management in a single environment. Its most notable modules are centralized document management, coordination and early detection of conflicts and task monitoring and quality control.
–Trimble Connect allows you to share 3D models and manage tasks in real time, with support for file formats such as IFC and DWG. It is ideal for projects that require fluid collaboration between disciplines.
–Bentley ProjectWise: designed for complex infrastructure projects, it offers advanced document control and workflow automation. It is especially useful in large-scale projects.
–Revizto: facilitates the coordination of 3D models in real time, with tools for early detection of interferences and problem management.
–Dalux: stands out for its use of augmented reality and virtual reality, which allow on-site inspections from mobile devices and thus improve precision in project execution.

In an already definitive and completely digitalized environment, BIM platforms in the cloud are essential tools to ensure competitiveness and success in the construction industry.
