Amusement Logic’s Design Department recently received a very unique and interesting assignment, a project that is perfectly suited to the company’s capabilities, experience and track record. The challenge was to create a restaurant that would convey the impression of being nestled in the Amazon rainforest, surrounded by tropical vegetation, waterways and even the sounds that give its atmosphere its unique character. As you can see in the images of our design proposal, enjoying a table at this restaurant is almost like stepping into the lush Amazon jungle, a wild immersive experience, though safe from snakes, vermin and other creatures that inhabit it.
Some 1,600 diners are distributed over a ground floor and a first floor, with indoor spaces and terraces with tables outside, in a total area of 6,500 m2. Theming down to the smallest detail, with artificial rocks, waterfalls, streams, watercourses and ponds, gives unity and a sense of continuity to the whole complex. On the other hand, the landscaping is oriented towards the same objective and always from a perspective that takes the Amazon rainforest as a model and reference, in a profusion of landscaped areas inhabited by specific species of flora. In addition to all this, there is a children’s playground so that families can enjoy the atmosphere and the food, safe in the knowledge that their children will find something to keep them occupied.

Architecture, design, theming, landscaping and special sound effects are the disciplines that come together in the configuration of a project that aims to fully immerse diners in the Amazonian landscape. The artificial rocks, the streams that meander through the area, the freshness and naturalness of the vegetation, as well as the sounds of the animals, immerse the diners in an exceptional time. The experience goes beyond the enjoyment of the restaurant’s menu, in a unique and different gastronomic journey. A romantic dinner, a family meal or a gathering of friends becomes a memorable event that will live on in the memory.
