An adventure activity that is currently in great demand is zip-lining. It is an attraction that forms part of many leisure and tourism facilities, such as theme parks, adventure parks and even water parks. However, the topography of the terrain where these facilities are located does not always have the appropriate slopes for zip lines. In these cases, it will be necessary to create an artificial difference in level. This is the function of the Zip-line Tower.
Amusement Logic is working on the design of the Zipline Tower, an exit tower that creates the right height difference to bring the thrilling experience of zip-lines to visitors and users of theme parks, adventure parks, water parks and other leisure and tourism destinations. Depending on the degree of slope and the length of the zip line, the tower will become a conspicuous element in such facilities. Therefore, in addition to presenting an emblematic profile, the design must be concerned with aesthetically integrating the Zip-line Tower into the environment and the theming of each particular facility.
Our design, inspired by the thread and nail crafts we know from childhood, seeks the lightness and elegance of the Zip-line Tower. It is a sustainable and economical solution based on a concept of tensioned ropes. With it, Zip-line Tower achieves a recognisable and unique character. On the other hand, the tensioned ropes are inevitably reminiscent of the attraction of the zip lines themselves. Beyond its incorporation into leisure and tourism attractions such as theme parks, adventure parks or water parks, Zip-line Tower is an attraction in itself that integrates perfectly into a natural environment.
