The façade of a building is more than just an exterior screen; it offers the first impression to whoever observes it; it is the initial point of contact with its recipients and sets the tone for what is to come. At Amusement Logic’s Design Department, we value and give façades the importance they deserve in architecture. Ultimately, we recognise that they communicate the identity of a building and attract visitors.
A geometric pattern on a façade exemplifies a vibrant prelude that plays with light and shadow on the building. During the day, the pattern creates a dynamic spectacle of light and shadow that changes with the position of the sun. This play of contrasts creates a visually intriguing appearance, which invites visitors to explore.
In another of our innovative shopping centre projects, the façade incorporates white latticework. This architectural solution allows natural light to pass through. This transforms the interior into a bright and pleasant space. Meanwhile, on the outside, the white louvres offer an attractive texture to the eye and distinguish the building from its surroundings.
As can be seen, the façade is the building’s calling card. It not only fulfils a protective function, but also expresses the building’s personality and character. It also establishes a relationship with its urban environment and offers a foretaste of the experience inside.
Amusement Logic’s Design Department approaches façade design in architecture as an opportunity to communicate, incite and delight. In doing so, façades are not only functional elements, but take on an expressive dimension and foster a positive, emotional connection between the building and its public.
