Architecture is often a reflection of traditions and, as such, refers to a historical time. Amusement Logic’s Design Department is aware of this fact and yet is at the same time open to new styles and trends that are ahead of that historical time. Therefore, many of its designs fuse tradition with the new, in a balance that produces unique works of architecture.

An example of this perspective is the hotel project presented here. It combines a glass façade of modern conception with proportions of traditional architecture. The glass façade, with its clean lines and sophisticated minimalism, is a clear representation of modernity. However, by incorporating the classical canons, invisible at first glance, it acquires an additional dimension that connects with the past.

The juxtaposition of the modern and the traditional is also sought in interior design. In one example, the interior design of a restaurant integrates a modern steel structure with traditional stone walls and wooden beams. The cold, rectilinear steel provides a perfect counterpoint to the warm, organic stone and wood. The result is a contemporary space that roots us in a distant past. It therefore manages to offer us a kind of security, the confidence of knowing that we are moving forward without losing the richness of the past, involved in a fruitful dialogue between eras and styles. This reaffirms the symbiosis between the ancient and the modern, in a space that respects the past and looks to the future.
