In Amusement Logic’s Design Department we have proposed the design of a research centre, where science and nature merge in harmony. It is a futuristic design destined to become a benchmark for ecological research and the responsible use of resources. The organic forms, the rhythmic and soft curves, extend in continuity with the surrounding nature. They preserve the beauty of the environment and avoid visual interruptions.
We have selected materials, including recycled ones, with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility, and the strict criterion of minimising the ecological footprint of their construction. We have also opted for the use of renewable resources in order to reduce their environmental impact.
The interior design encourages collaboration and creativity. Large windows allow natural light to flood the workspaces and common areas, adding a stimulating and energetic touch to the atmosphere. Moreover, the visual connection with the natural environment is constant, so that researchers have a perpetual reminder of the importance of their work, for the preservation and conservation of the environment.
Indoor and outdoor gardens, with a variety of native plant species, provide an oasis of tranquillity and offer a space for contemplation and relaxation. Carefully designed courtyards and terraces maximise panoramic views and provide outdoor areas where researchers meet, exchange ideas and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Technology and innovation are fundamental pillars of our research centre design. State-of-the-art laboratories, equipped with cutting-edge technology, are dedicated to research and experimentation in areas such as renewable energy, resource conservation and climate change studies. Technology is used in a smart and efficient way in order to optimise energy consumption and minimise waste production.
