The use of renewable energy sources is a clear trend in the architecture and construction sector in general, and in the development of leisure and tourism facilities in particular. It is also a way of obtaining energy that is supported by public administrations, favoured by developers and positively perceived by the public.

Amusement Logic is resolutely joining this trend by implementing this type of energy source in the projects entrusted to it. The idea is that not only their design and construction, but also their operation should be more efficient, sustainable and environmentally friendly.

One of these energy sources is precisely photovoltaics. We are going to deal here, specifically, with its application to the lighting of outdoor spaces in leisure and tourism.

Simplicity of maintenance, installation and integration in all types of projects and locations, including leisure and recreational ones, are some of the advantages that recommend the use of lighting systems with solar panels. In addition, they also mean a reduction in the wiring and infrastructure required for connection. For its part, LED technology is a firm ally of these systems, to which it brings efficiency.

A wide variety of solar luminaire designs are available. Some of these incorporate intelligent devices that automatically adapt the luminosity to the time of day, therefore obtaining greater battery autonomy. It is also possible to operate them remotely, as well as to programme and control the different areas of a leisure and tourism facility, according to parameters such as the number of visitors or the time of day.
