Amusement Logic, through its Design Department, is studying a new concept of housing in hot areas. This design is one of the results of this research: housing architecture that cools itself over underground water currents. The latter are responsible for the microclimate that surrounds them and which contrasts diametrically with the heat outside.
In geographical areas where the sun is relentless and the air is dry, one of the keys to well-being and health in a home, lies in harnessing the natural coolness that emanates from deep in the ground. That is why this design and architecture for residential spaces goes deep into the earth, where temperatures are more stable and, above all, cooler.
Waterfalls and ponds, beyond their sumptuous aesthetic value, naturally humidify and cool the air; together with vegetation, they act as natural lungs; they release water vapour and create a cooler, more pleasant atmosphere around the residence.
The design of the dwellings themselves unfolds in flowing forms; the resulting organic structures blend seamlessly into their surroundings, defying the typical rigid, rectilinear construction. The architecture not only provides shade and shelter, it also captures natural breezes and channels them for passive ventilation, thus minimising the need for artificial air conditioning.
