Canyoning
The concept park our team is developing centers on immersive experiences and attractions that break away from those offered at traditional theme parks and amusement parks. The new concept park is centered on redirecting the in-park guest experience from passive to active participation.

The core elements of the park are attractions that are manmade recreations of destination activities and experiences – activities and experiences for people to engage in that do not exist in the regional market the park is located in. The park appeals to the widest possible demographic, offering something for everyone; the park is inspired by nature and centers on the utmost utilization of art and technology.

The team does not think of the park as a theme park, but rather believes it to be the evolution of the theme park. The park is designed to be a dynamic place of space for people and events that is always changing and evolving.

With any participatory attraction that is programmed in a park setting, it must be two key things; controlled and predictable. Without these properties the attraction lacks a structure for the guest to operate within, thereby rendering it difficult or impossible for the guest to capture the essence of the ideal experience. All of our entertainment offerings are controlled and predictable, offering the highest level of experience to the guest.

Many regional destination parks have been fixated on the ideal that they must have theme. Our park rejects this notion of traditional theming as a requisite for a regional entertainment attraction to be successful. Our park is fixated on enhancing the experience of being human, by affecting the senses – sounds, sight, touch, smell and taste. The human, or guest, influences their in-park experience based on the type or level of participatory engagement they have with the attractions, events, vendors, or people in the park.

In addition to a synthetic sky slope, other attractions in the park include, rock climbing, zip lining, ropes courses, and a snow play area. The unique climbing walls, zip lines, and ropes courses extend length of stay, enhance repeat visitation by guests, and provide a ideal platform for group sales for the park. The snow play area is designed to provide young children with a place to roam freely with others and play in a innovative snow playground space when they don’t want to ski, snowboard, or partake in any of the other exciting entertainment offerings.

In addition to the climbing, zip lining, ropes courses, and snow playground our park has more unique entertainment offerings for its guests that we will touch on in the next two articles.

This is the third of five articles to be sequentially released in this newsletter through the end of the year. Each forthcoming article will contain new details related to the attractions and experiences offered in the park as well as park brand.

Energetic, Enthusiastic and Fun Regards,
The Team
