With a surface area of 670,000 m2, this is the adventure park of reference in The Caribbean Sea. Located in the depths of a lush jungle, it is a unique place to offer leisure and free time activities, both to local people and to tourists who spend their holidays in the island’s hotels and resorts. In preparation for its complete redevelopment and modernisation, Amusement Logic has been chosen to design the master plan for the new leisure and adventure complex planned for the site. The activities for which we have designed the master plan include both adrenaline-pumping activities (zip lines, water jumps, water slides, vehicle trails) and more relaxed, contemplative and exploratory activities (caving, hiking, cultural trails).

Architecture for conservation, diversity, entertainment and culture

In general terms, our design proposes an architecture of integration and use of natural elements and materials, with thatched roofs, stone walls, wooden beams and pillars, etc. In this way, our master plan establishes the necessary services with the minimum impact on the land, for the park’s proper functioning and profitability. From this perspective, the general objectives of the project are:

-To establish a growth plan for the park in phases, over time and with successive investments, until it reaches full consistency and integration.

-To create new attractions to replace those that will no longer be part of the park, diversifying the offer and broadening the visitor experience.

Improve user comfort by concentrating the activities in separate cores and shortening the distance between them.

-Improving and broadening the experience offered by the cultural route by making it more interactive and more entertaining from the visitors’ point of view.

Amongst the many new activity facilities that make up our master plan, we highlight the following:

A Canyoning Park that expands the possibilities for leisure and entertainment.

The Canyoning Park planned in our master plan will increase the current capacity of the park and attract more visitors. One of the novelties of this canyoning park is the incorporation of a natural amphitheatre for the potential holding of shows against a backdrop that is unique in the world.

Variety of slides, variety of experiences

Two groups of slides, integrated into the environment through their rockwork theming and the careful use of nature. They consist respectively of 4 slides of about 12 metres high, with Kamikazes, Hydrotubes and Blackholes, and 2 Kamikaze slides of almost 8 metres in height.

Attractions and adventures for children

An aquatic children’s area offers children activities to make their day at the park complete. It consists of a themed multi-adventure WaterParty, a children’s pool and a bar for the convenience and service of parents and children. Mini-water slides, pools, water jets, themed and adventure games, caves, an obstacle course, are just some of the components of this children’s area.

Unique water attraction on the island and in the world

The master plan for this adventure park features a SplashDance: this is a newly designed water attraction, consisting of a dance floor under different water jets, coloured light projectors and music. An elevated dry area provides space to enjoy drinks while watching the show. This water attraction for dancing, fun, partying and big events, unique not only in The Caribbean Sea but in the world, is an irresistible attraction for tourists and locals, and strategically enhances the nightlife offer of the park and the region.

Glamping areas

In what is an unparalleled alternative in The Caribbean hotel offerings, the glamping areas we have planned for the adventure park will attract guests who wish to spend a night in contact with the jungle and nature, and enjoy an unequalled experience. The initiative is an element of added value, allows the park to be operated at night, invites visitors to extend their stay and is therefore a factor in its profitability.

Interference-free vehicle routes

Our project includes the development of routes for motor vehicles, with intertwined tracks, tunnels and caves with water, wooden bridges, etc. Thanks to these, visitors will have an additional alternative to enjoy a fun and exciting experience. Our design takes into account the need for the vehicle routes to be separated from the rest of the adventure park, in order to avoid possible interference with the rest of the facilities and their users due to noise.

New zip wire lines

The park’s current zip line system will be modified with the introduction of two courses, one dry and one wet, which will cross waterfalls and pools, both with 5 zip lines each.

A monumental entrance and other facilities

In addition to the above-mentioned actions, our master plan includes the extension of complementary facilities, such as car parks, service buildings, restaurants and others, in order to adapt to the park’s new configuration and the expectations of a greater number of visitors. In addition, access to the park will be via a monumental entrance, as specified in our design. This spectacular and awe-inspiring element, which will determine the mood of visitors as they cross it, will be an emblem of the adventure park and a preview of the great and unique experiences that await visitors inside.
