The end of life of industrial installations in water parks, theme parks, campsites, hotels and resorts, shopping centres or other leisure and tourism complexes, whether electrical or mechanical, is not a predictable issue. However, our aim will always be to prolong their operation and extend their service life as much as possible. Well, the following are the key steps to achieve this life cycle extension of leisure and tourism facilities:
–Design and planning: during the exercise of these disciplines, we must ensure that the facilities are fully functional, safe and efficient, so as to minimise maintenance needs and their cost.
–Execution: at the construction stage, in accordance with the design, planning and prior specifications, the components of the executed facilities must be correctly labelled, and as-built drawings (reflecting the exact end result of the construction), maintenance manuals, etc. must be prepared.
–Maintenance: Once the facilities of these water parks, theme parks, campsites, hotels and resorts, shopping centres and leisure and tourism complexes are in operation, it is time to establish a routine of cleaning and prevention, as well as a programme of regular inspections and, if necessary, corrective work. In many cases, automation and remote control enhance this process, perhaps the most important process for extending the life of the facility.
–Upgrading: Finally, planned extensions, renovations or upgrades will be necessary to modernise and update the facility, reduce maintenance costs or respond to changes in regulations.
Amusement Logic strictly adheres to these crucial approaches to ensure the longest life cycle of technical installations in water and theme parks, campsites, hotels and resorts, shopping centres or other leisure and tourism complexes. In doing so, we add value to the projects for which we are responsible.
