Amusement Logic, as the company that created the world’s first artificial canyoning circuits more than 20 years ago, is the leader in their design and construction. Inspired by nature and with realistic finishes, these canyoning circuits, or Canyonings, provide an exciting and unique adventure experience. Well, in designing these spectacular facilities, we consider a variety of important factors, namely:
–Safety: this issue is a priority, although it keeps a balance with the fact that it is nothing more than a recreation of the adventure experience in a real canyon in the middle of nature. Therefore, the design of Canyoning includes routes with multiple route options, each adapted to different levels of ability. Of course, with emergency exits available at all times. The layout of the pools, the height of the jumps, the slopes and the theming are meticulously calculated to guarantee an experience that is as thrilling as it is safe.
–Protections: the protective elements, such as handrails and lifelines, are carefully integrated into the Canyoning theme. The routes and their protections, as well as their difficulty, are adapted to the target public, from family members to expert sports-people and sometimes it is even necessary to create circuits suitable for both groups in the same installation.
–Variety: Canyoning also offers a wide range of experiences, including jumps, abseiling, slides, diving, caving, climbing, zip-lines, etc. With the combination of different elements and alternative routes, a diverse and exciting experience is provided for every visitor.
–Circulations: From an operational and investment perspective, Canyonings are geared towards maximising the flow of participants. One of the central objectives is to ensure a return on the promoter’s investment in a reasonable time frame. Therefore, the design of the canyoning is studied and implemented according to the maximum number and frequency of participants. This ensures a maximum daily capacity satisfactory to the operators, without prejudice to an authentic adventure experience for the adventurers.
