In Amusement Logic’s Design Department, we have developed a concept as innovative as it is endearing: a public bookshop for children, dismountable and transportable. With it, we bring the experience of reading and learning to any place, be it an urban neighbourhood or a rural community.
The design of this bookshop is that of a playful and colourful architecture that awakens the imagination of children. The modular structures, made of lightweight yet sturdy materials, can be quickly assembled and disassembled and adapted to different locations.
Its interior, populated with child-friendly shelves, has reading areas filled with soft cushions and interactive corners where stories come to life through projections. In addition, the exterior becomes a visual eye-catcher, with organic shapes and themed decorative elements that vary according to the season or the literary theme of the moment.
Its portability ensures that the bookshop can reach different audiences, as well as organising itinerant events: storytelling, creative workshops, children’s book fairs, etc. In this way, it brings culture closer to city children, or to those who live in hard-to-reach communities, which are not usually reached by this type of resource. After all, the love of books, reading and creativity has no geographical limits and families can spend quality time with their children.
