Amusement Logic’s design department is working on what it considers an ode to the architecture of Africa. It is a project that is situated in the interregnum between tradition, to which it professes deep respect and veneration, and a horizon of innovation and design in contemporary forms. The inspiration therefore, comes from the iconic adobe and clay structures of various African cultures, and reaches the imagination of curves and slender lines that fly towards the sky, and warm textures that embrace the landscape.

The organic forms of this work emerge from the ground like natural extensions of the earth itself. They evoke the silhouette of baobabs, termite mounds and other monumental figures of the African continent. Each column and arch is consumed in the gracefulness and lightness of the design, in an imposing yet subtle presence, in which light plays hide-and-seek. Through carefully sculpted openings, an effect of dancing shadows is achieved, responding to the environment, changing with the passage of the day and giving the building a life of its own.

This concept represents a real connection with the cultural roots of Africa from an innovative perspective. The structure reflects the context, but also recovers practical ventilation and insulation solutions inspired by traditional building techniques to adapt them to the demands of the 21st century. A perfect design for cultural spaces, leisure centres or public buildings seeking an emblematic character.
