This month, Amusement Logic brings an avant-garde architectural project that is part of the biomimetic design trend. This is a design that imitates the forms and processes of nature in solving technical problems, in this case with the aim of applying them to architecture. In this particular building project, the organic design is inspired by the natural and dynamic forms of kelp, a large algae of the Laminariales order. These algae have evolved into a complex organism whose vascular transport network is optimised to distribute resources throughout the organism with minimal investment in infrastructure.

The flame shapes that characterise this construction precisely mimic those of kelp. In the same way as the transport networks optimised in them, our building accommodates a variety of uses with an optimal distribution of spaces and communication networks. These characteristics give the building an efficient operation, in other words, they provide comfort, ease of operation and maximum versatility. In addition, this architectural project has advanced and optimised ventilation systems, making it suitable for location in urban environments, or those surrounded by nature.

This kelp-like exterior appearance of the building offers the viewer multiple visuals and a changing appearance at every step. The volume of the building is made up of four different-sized elements, which we subject to various rotations and to which we apply different finishes. Thanks to the division of the space into several towers, the building can easily accommodate different uses, whether as an office complex, as space for a shopping centre, as a residential building, as a hotel or resort, as a leisure centre, etc.
