Solar or sunlight analysis using BIM methodology in the early stages of the design of leisure and tourism facilities, is used to assess the amount of radiation received by each of the faces of the building or group of buildings involved.
Through this BIM analysis, Amusement Logic quantifies the radiation parameters and reflects the results in a 3D view. The information obtained allows different alternatives to be evaluated and the most efficient design to be chosen from the point of view of energy savings.
In addition to energy optimisation, sunlight analysis with BIM methodology is useful to define, during the design and development of the master plan, the interrelationship between the buildings of the leisure and tourism facilities and their surroundings. With the data obtained, we establish the location of swimming pools and the planning of shaded areas, outdoor spaces, etc.
