Leisure and tourism complexes with a building management system (BMS) can integrate access control operations into the BMS to increase security. In addition to granting or denying access to people and vehicles, access control can be linked bi-directionally with other security installations via the BMS, such as closed-circuit television (CCTV). This configuration makes it possible to add new and interesting functionalities to the system:

-When intrusion alarms occur in the leisure and tourism complex, it allows inhibiting readers or blocking accesses.

-In the event of fire alarms, on the other hand, it is possible to unblock the accesses and exits of the complex to speed up evacuation.

-It also ensures the control of lighting, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) devices and the public address system, according to the capacity registered at these entrances.

-It is also possible to grant or deny, in case of emergency, timely access to unauthorised persons or vehicles from CCTV.

-Through CCTV, we can also confirm faults in the access control, and therefore improve the response time for repairs.

In short, the system has powerful tools to define security and operational strategies. With this, the implementation of BMS allows Amusement Logic to make leisure and tourism complexes into intelligent facilities, at the forefront of management and operation.
