The electric car has more than proved to be a viable and sustainable alternative to combustion models. Whilst its autonomy is more than sufficient to cover the daily commute for the majority of the population, this is not the case when it comes to longer journeys. In order to make such journeys viable, a strong public access network is needed for fast charging of these vehicles.
To address this issue, Amusement Logic proposes charging stations where design, nature and functionality come together. It is a sculptural design with a dynamic appearance and an eye-catching presence in the environment. In addition to providing shade for parking, during charging, it provides a source of sustainable energy, as it has solar panels on its upper part. So, invisibly, the charging station itself generates part of the energy necessary for its main function.
