Children on the small island nation of Mauritius, situated in the Indian Ocean, to the east of the island of Madagascar, now have an iconic place to play, celebrate birthday parties and have fun in the water and on slides. The extension of the Now Onyx Hotel by Amusement Logic has been inaugurated.
Hotel Now Onyx, located in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, formally began its activity on November 23, 2016. Three years later, after the expansion work that Amusement Logic carried out, its new facilities called Now Onyx Splash has been inaugurated. The event was attended by the President of the Republic, Danilo Medina, his Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier García, as well as Enrique Martinón, president of the Martinón Group, owner of the complex, and other authorities of the country's tourism, business, social and government sector. Trigon
This month we’re presenting a modular game of triangular sloped and flat blocks, which function as a game, creating an irregular surface area on which children can move, to access slides of different heights. It includes ground water-jets that are incorporated into the blocks. This original game is contemplated for splash pads, offering users endless fun and refreshing activities to enjoy.
New project in China: Yixing Academy.
Amusement Logic is participating in the project of Yixing Academy – Sunpark, in cooperation with Pierre & Vacances (PVCP) with an investment of 8 billion yuan (1 billion euros). The project will be developed in three phases, the first consisting of 16,000 m2, in which our company is designing a play complex with indoor and outdoor pools. The highlight of the Sunpark project is a large, eye-catching covered waterpark with tropical-forest vegetation, which has a year-round constant temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. As part of its remodelling, we are creating a waterpark, with a large themed splash pad with slides and rest areas for parents. We’re announcing the creation of a new leisure space in the NORDOTEL-brand Hotel Tui Magic Life, in Fuerteventura, Spain. After successfully completing the first splash pad (or shallow waterpark) for the chain, the Tour Operator contacted us again to work on a new project in another of its establishments. The splash pad is a growing trend for recreational spaces in hotels, campsites, waterparks and even public parks.
