Camping Colina do Sol is located in the village of São Martinho do Porto, in the Serra dos Mangues, on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, about 100 km north of Lisbon. Covering an area of 11 hectares, Colina do Sol is laid out in terraces and has pitches for camping and caravans, as well as well-kept and comfortable bungalows. Amongst the services offered to tourists, such as a restaurant, a mini-golf course and a barbecue area, there is a swimming pool for adults and a children’s pool. However, Amusement Logic is now working with Camping Colina do Sol to update and expand these services and make the campsite a unique entertainment destination in the area.
Beyond traditional tourist attractions such as the beaches, (Colina do Sol offers pedestrian access to Praia da Gralha and is very close to the spectacular Praia de São Martinho do Porto), the campsite is firmly committed to aquatic leisure. The new project includes water slides, the remodelling of the existing swimming pools into a children’s water play area and bathing area for adults, and a complete indoor Spa centre.
Our work is undertaken with an integral approach, in the “turnkey” modality. It begins in the area of architecture and engineering, with the preparation of the basic project and the subsequent execution project, and continues with the construction of the civil works and the manufacture and installation of the water attractions and games, with their metal structures, exit tower, etc. Finally, we install all the technical equipment for filtration, chemical water treatment, pumping and others, carry out the prescribed checks and deliver the work to Camping Colina do Sol.
Campers will have great reasons to choose Camping Colina do Sol as their holiday destination. In addition to relaxation, sun and swimming at the beach, they will be able to enjoy the water park. For teenagers to adults, this water park offers a Giant Slide hydro-tube, a kamikaze and a Space Bowl slide. Parents, meanwhile, will be able to delight in their children’s enjoyment on the Splash Pad, equipped with an Island Interactive Game and aquatic figures chosen from our Spray Toons and Fun Clan catalogues. In addition, adult campers looking for a relaxing and healthy stay will have the option of enjoying the indoor Spa all year round, with swimming pools, jacuzzis, hydromassage beds, treatment showers…
With these new facilities, scheduled to open for the 2022 season, Camping Colina do Sol is not only expanding its international status, but also becoming a unique destination in its catchment area.
