This study by Amusement Logic’s Design Department proposes a hypersaline pool integrated into a water park. By guaranteeing greater buoyancy than conventional pools, it can be classified as a “flotarium“. Thanks to this floatarium, the water park delights visitors and guests with a unique and relaxing experience. The mineralized water facilitates buoyancy, and the serene and luminous surroundings complete the picture.
Deliberately set apart from the dynamic and noisy area of the water park, the floatarium’s focus is on the stillness of the water, the landscaping, and the sensation of weightlessness. The design incorporates a lagoon of balanced scale, with gentle geometry and shallow edges. It is complemented by a solarium, sun loungers, shaded areas, cabanas, and a meticulously maintained Mediterranean-inspired garden.

This solution establishes a distinct wellness zone within the water park, expanding its offerings and enriching its appeal to new types of visitors. Adults, couples, and families find a place to relax, float, and converse in a tranquil sensory experience. Furthermore, the project incorporates specific engineering and operational criteria for its effective implementation in aquatic facilities. In contrast, the design criteria emphasize sophistication and understated elegance, eschewing formal artifice or fantastical elements.
The hypersaline pool, as a new attraction, makes the contemporary water park a more versatile space, aligned with the expectations of discerning visitors who value both the emotional experience and the excellence of the design.
