Architecture for a sports stadium

This month Amusement Logic proposes the design of an architectural project for the formal conceptualisation of a state-of-the-art sports stadium.

The enclosure of this sports stadium features a toroidal-shaped openwork mesh surface. This design serves not only an aesthetic, but also a functional purpose: it protects the interior of the stadium from undesirable winds and adverse weather conditions. In addition, this spectacular enclosure is the result of a trend that has been observed in the last ten years of architecture: the use of new materials and new technologies that enhance the visual appeal of the design of three-dimensional structures.

In tackling the design process of this stadium, we have not only considered capacities, functionalities and visual impacts, but we have also taken special care of the economic aspect of its construction. This is why the proposed enclosure takes into account both the cost of the materials and their construction, as well as their subsequent maintenance. Another important aspect when tackling an architectural project of this scale is its permanence over time. Therefore, the planned use of metallic and plastic materials, together with the virtual absence of wiring, makes the proposal particularly durable.
