This design of shading systems that we present from Amusement Logic’s Design Department, known as “aerial topiaries“. Topiary is a technique of pruning trees and shrubs through which they are given a decorative, figurative or thematic form. In this case, our design proposal converts the beauty and freshness of the plants, through topiary carving, into functional structures that cast shade and provide protection from the sun and heat.
Through topiary, artistic forms and silhouettes are sculpted in thick masses of vegetation. It is living art with a touch of sophistication and charm that arouses curiosity and attracts guests, visitors and users who enjoy leisure and tourism facilities such as a hotel or resort, a campsite, a water or theme park or even a shopping centre.
The versatility of topiary planting is virtually endless. These designs are tailor-made to suit the needs of each project, adapting to its particular theming requirements or the space available. They therefore become a creative and original solution that combines functionality and beauty with the environmental benefits of plants. Aerial topiaries will undoubtedly delight guests, users and visitors in shopping centres, water and theme parks, hotels and resorts, campsites and other places for leisure and tourism.
