Amusement Logic’s Design Department is launching a new product line aimed at expanding recreational offerings on beaches, lakes and river environments. The Floating Play System (FPS) is a catalogue of rigid floating platforms that create spaces for leisure, adventure and entertainment where none previously existed — namely, on the water — with varying levels of complexity and designed for a wide range of uses and audiences.
Unlike temporary inflatable parks, FPS platforms are solid modular infrastructures. Their design is based on the technical principle of industrialised production using interchangeable modules that can be assembled and dismantled. Transport, assembly and installation are carried out on site in a controlled manner, without the need for construction works along the coastline or lake shores. The modular nature of the Floating Play System allows it to adapt to seasonal changes and to the specific characteristics of each location; at the same time, it ensures the possibility of dismantling — as straightforward as installation — and storage.
FPS is a catalogue of modular structures comprising a variety of platforms, walkways, children’s play areas, adventure and challenge courses, and relaxation zones. As an open system, it can adopt virtually any theme imaginable. The combination of its elements creates an environment for aquatic experiences aimed at children, youngsters and families. The design of the Floating Play System platform configurations adheres to the strictest safety standards, while also prioritising accessibility for users, swimmers, tourists and guests.
In parallel, Amusement Logic has developed a specific version for adult audiences. Under the name FPS Lounge Edition, this concept transforms the platforms into floating social spaces intended for hotels and resorts, beach clubs or private events. Featuring a refined aesthetic, neutral colours and clean, elegant lines, FPS Lounge Edition platforms incorporate seating and relaxation areas, bars, shaded zones and adapted furnishings.
The FPS Lounge Edition catalogue brings the concept of urban terraces to unique and unusual settings — on the water of sheltered beaches, lakes or calm river inlets. Reconfiguration on the go, as well as the addition of roofing elements, lighting and sound systems, is just as straightforward as on land. Furthermore, FPS Lounge Edition platforms are accessible either by boat or via technical removable walkways connected to the shore.
