Convert outdoor spaces into welcoming refuges full of freshness. This is how the proposal by the Design Department of Amusement Logic can be summed up: a structure inspired by the organic forms of nature that filters sunlight and casts a gentle play of shadows that changes throughout the day. It is a living corridor for urban spaces, or Natur Vault.
When the climbing plants grow and embrace the cellular pattern that forms the tunnel, Natur Vault becomes a beautiful plant vault that separates terrace areas with quiet shaded passageways. Its curved form envelops the space and acts as a natural barrier against noise, a refreshing corner thanks to a water misting system. The structure integrates suspended tables inside, where citizens can have a coffee, rest or work surrounded by vegetation, in a cool atmosphere.
Natur Vault is an ally of the environment. Its base includes plant beds growing on a special substrate enriched with biochar, a natural material that retains moisture and helps greatly reduce irrigation water consumption. In addition, the plant species are carefully selected for their ability to clean the air and absorb pollutants from the surroundings. In this way, it creates a green space that is easy to maintain, one that actively cares for the health of the environment and for the people who enjoy it.
