Theme parks function as vast and captivating stories, integrating everything from gravity-defying roller coasters to dazzling live shows. Their attractions carefully contribute to that narrative, whose dual purpose is to thrill visitors and tourists alike, in complete safety on their journey. But the safe thrills begin long before visitors enter the attraction.

Queue design as a preamble to the experience

The queue of an attraction is more than just a corridor leading to the starting point; it is the prologue to the experience. Its design immerses visitors and tourists in the overall theme of the park and that of the attraction in particular. The queue becomes a space of anticipation. From the architecture to the background music, everything contributes to enveloping the eager guests in a meaningful atmosphere.

Introduction to the experience

Before approaching the heart of the attraction, the design sometimes chooses to prepare visitors and tourists for what is to come. This brief moment is used to stage an introductory show to the narrative of the experience. Special effects, lighting and narration immerse visitors in the depths of the story they will learn once they are swept up in the power of the attraction. The introduction also serves to improve visitor flow management before the main experience.

Invisible security, safe design

The safety elements that surround the attraction are sometimes also integrated into the attraction’s narrative. From restraint systems with an integrated design, in keeping with the theming, to barriers that are camouflaged, such elements are produced according to an ingenious design that ensures safety is imperceptible. Handrails and queue guides are another example, and their design contributes visually to the ambience.

Accessibility, a design for all

From access ramps to designated areas, the design takes great care to ensure that the spaces are accessible to all. Every visitor, regardless of their abilities, according to their diversity, should fully enjoy the attraction.

Innovation, a design that looks to the future

Attraction design is constantly evolving at the same pace as technology. A commitment to innovation ensures that safe thrills and guaranteed experiences are the standard in theme parks and will be renewed in the future.
