In a previous article, we presented the design of the project that Amusement Logic carried out for the theming of the water park of the MSC Euribia, the new ship of the MSC Cruises shipping company. At that time, we explained that the cruise ship, which is claimed to be the most energy-efficient in the history of shipping, was under construction at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. MSC Cruises officially launched the MSC Euribia in the port of Copenhagen, Denmark, on 13th June. On board are the themed elements and games that Amusement Logic designed, manufactured and installed for MSC Cruises.

The design of the theming and dry rides is inspired by the seabed and its elements are harmoniously integrated into the ship’s water park space. A whale, dolphins, starfish, corals and other sea creatures, as well as themed murals, provide a marine atmosphere in the water complex.

All elements were produced using Amusement Logic’s unique 3D-Tech Soft system. This production system allows the company to create figures and play components with a soft and pliable texture to children’s touch. In addition to their consistency, they have vibrant colours and a glossy finish that makes them visually appealing.

If in the previous article we presented the design of the spaces for the theming project of the MSC Euribia’s water park, in this update we want to show you the finished work. MSC Cruises’ new flagship is now afloat and ready to spread its imposing wake across the world’s seas. The first children to board her will enjoy the immersive experience of the play area around the water park.

To give you a glimpse of the result, we’ve created this VIDEO.
