With the aim of creating a comfortable environment and providing shade in a children’s playground, the Amusement Logic’s Design Department is working on the design of a cover using the parametric method. Parametric or generative design, in this case applied to landscape architecture, enables us to exercise efficient control, without losing flexibility, over the design variables.
As a result, we have achieved a unique and customised solution. At the same time it meets the specific landscape architecture project requirements. It also offers protection and enhancement of the children’s play area.
Our design, intended this time for landscaping an urban playground, facilitates the passive control of light and shadow. It also allows for adequate air circulation. The cover also creates a unique landscape in a solution that integrates seating and play elements. This is landscape architecture for a space that families very often demand in towns and city neighbourhoods.
