The five fastest growing airports in the world.

8,8 billion people (or 1.14 times the world population) passed through an airport in 2018, in one of the 99.9 million aircraft movements, according to the latest report published by the Airports Council International (ACI). The obtained figures represent a year-on-year increase of 6.4% in global airport traffic. In absolute terms, the airport with the most passenger traffic in the world remains (for 21 consecutive years) Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, with more than 107 million passengers.
