Shaping a sculptural lounger system that recreates the beauty of a seashell, as if emerging from the water, is the concept investigated by Amusement Logic’s Design Department. Each lounger unit is modelled in a high-strength satin white composite, whose ribs evoke the pearly textures of bivalves and stand out with intense luminosity against the coastal landscape. The generously curved backrest, which envelops the guest in an atmosphere of privacy, acts as a screen while framing the infinite horizon of the sea.
The circular base rests on a discreet motorised rotating ring that allows the whole to be oriented with a gentle gesture. Therefore, the user decides whether to take refuge in the shade cast by the shell itself or to align himself with the trajectory of the sun, for a perfect sunbathing experience. The silent, controlled movement can optionally be synchronised with wind and temperature sensors, so that the lounger adjusts itself and always offers the most comfortable angle.
Placed on low platforms over the water, these corners for relaxation, reading and resting become sculptural landmarks that give identity to any hotel, resort or luxury villa. Their organic silhouette dialogues with the horizon. At dusk, the oblique light produces shadows in the folds of the shell, which becomes a stimulating object that attracts attention and materialises a scenic elegance.
