Transforming underutilized urban spaces and public squares into useful and welcoming—in other words, liveable—places without the need for major renovations or high budgets: this is the premise from which the Amusement Logic’s Design Department starts its new research. One result: the development of rest areas that integrate directly into existing spaces using self-supporting, speedy-install modules. These modular elements easily adapt to different urban environments and revitalize unoccupied areas without disrupting daily city life.
One of their secrets: the knowledge, experience, and engineering required to make the right choice of materials: simple structures made of wood, steel, or composites, combined with natural plants and affordable finishes. Costs are kept under control by prioritizing prefabricated, durable solutions that require little maintenance.
The colour palette and unconventional sculptural forms make a striking difference in the surroundings of asphalt, cement, and stone. Vibrant tones and contrasts bring freshness, while unique geometries spark curiosity and add character to urban spaces or public squares. As such, some of those dull spaces that every city inevitably has become iconic meeting points, where people sit to chat, relax, or simply enjoy their city from a new perspective.
