The white minimalism and neutral tones of the last decade take a turn towards chromatic expressiveness and visual optimism with this new urban design from Amusement Logic’s Design Department. Street furniture is now an explosion of colour, form and life. The volumes, both sculptural and functional, are enjoyed as a spectacle of positive energy in the midst of the urban fabric, inviting people to sit.

The bold use of colour, far from being gratuitous, responds to an international trend that embraces emotion and local identity, while moving away from homogenisation. According to recent studies in urban design, public spaces that incorporate vivid colour palettes generate greater social interaction, permanence and well-being. Therefore, white — a symbol of purity and visual “silence” — gives way to a new era of colour and an emotional design language.

These multifunctional structures combine ergonomics, vegetation and fluid forms. The result is a series of micro-scenarios for meeting and resting, while the colours convey vitality and foster a sense of belonging. A contemporary urban manifesto: colour is more than just decoration, it is a plea for a city of joy.
