The world’s first Zootopia-themed land is located at Shanghai Disneyland. It’s an immersive experience that transports visitors to the universe of the Disney film of the same name. The spaces in this innovative themed area, recreate the film’s most iconic settings and make visitors citizens of the animal metropolis.

From the Sahara District to the Rainforest, every environmental and architectural detail of Zootopia faithfully replicates the film’s aesthetic. Accompanied by a dynamic soundtrack that reinforces the feeling of being inside the film, visitors walk among buildings with animated facades, interactive signs, and streets that emulate Zootopia’s different habitats.

The star attraction, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, allows visitors to interact with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on an exciting adventure. Thanks to a combination of 360° projections, adaptive motion vehicles, special effects, advanced technology, and animated robots, the line between fiction and reality disappears. Pawpsicles (the film’s signature ice creams) and themed menus in restaurants deepen visitors’ emotional connection with the universe created.

Zootopia, at Shanghai Disneyland, goes beyond the purely playful to reinforce key values from the film: diversity, self-improvement, and teamwork. These values, with the resort’s inclusive design, appeal to both children and adults in a multigenerational entertainment space.
