The entrance to a water park, theme park, amusement park or other leisure centre is a key point to take into account in its design and construction. In addition to the logo and the presence of branding or theming elements, operational and visitor management issues need to be considered.

Crowds often occur at the entrance area to parks, whether they are water, theme or amusement parks. Visitors accumulate at peak times, form queues and sometimes create congestion. For good management and operation of the access to these parks, a correct design must organise the physical points of ticket sales, the online ticket collection points, as well as the possible queues and the separation between standard visitors, groups and VIPs.

Amusement Logic is currently developing the design of an entrance gate to a theme park. It has implemented a large, light, rotating panel with geometric motifs. It is an adaptable system, which offers a singular façade when the park is closed, and organises access into two zones when it is open, according to the operational functionality defined in the programme of uses. This mobile portal also makes it possible to vary the size of each of the access sides, and therefore adjust them to the different needs, according to the time of day: peak entrance, off-peak entrance, off-peak exit and peak exit.
