Amusement Logic is a global pioneer in the design and construction of artificial canyoning circuits. As a result, the company also leads the way in the creation of artificial via ferrata routes. But what is a via ferrata? We’ll get to that: it consists of a vertical or horizontal route on a rock face, equipped with metal steps, anchors, ropes, bridges and walkways that facilitate the participants’ progress. These elements are connected by a continuous “lifeline”, a longitudinal handrail to which a safety harness is attached, securing the user at all times.

Today, thanks to their safety and balance, via ferratas have become a very popular attraction that democratises climbing. After all, it is an adventure suitable for a wide audience: from families and beginners, to sports enthusiasts looking for a greater physical challenge.

As in artificial canyoning projects, the ad hoc design of the rock geometry and the different “workshops” that make up the via ferrata makes it possible to adjust key aspects such as difficulty, duration, exact route, available elements, etc. Everything to make mountaineering a memorable and safe experience, a unique adventure attraction for users of all ages.
