A sculptural forest of micro-perforated pergolas surprises us on the promenade, as if a series of sea creatures were emerging at the surface. Each piece arches in a double curvature and changes chromatically from red to violet, from orange to amber and from emerald green to turquoise blue, in a gentle gradation that accompanies us on the pedestrian path along the water. At Amusement Logic’s Design Department, these sculptural structures admire us, casting shade and give meaning to the city’s leisure activities.

The thousands of oculi that pierce the surfaces visually lighten the mass, while filtering the light in a constellation of reflections, on the pavement and the people resting there. That is precisely what the benches integrated into the bases are for. In the evening, the interior LED lighting transforms the figures into large urban lanterns and therefore invites people to take a longer walk, or sit down. We see a plaza transformed into an urban landmark and meeting place.

A continuous geometry connects each module with the next, so that the installation grows or shrinks, according to the needs of the public space. More than a simple roof, the ensemble acts as a participatory work of art: a place to sit, meet, take photographs and contemplate the city skyline in a celebration of colours and shadows.
