Amusement Logic is constantly researching new construction systems, new concepts in architecture and new materials. On this occasion, we propose a new system for façade cladding: 3DFlex.
3DFlex is a method of industrial prefabrication of large pieces of a “fabric” of tiles, interwoven with a supporting steel wire mesh, for façade cladding. We produce the pieces or tiles from this fabric using a lightweight material and our unique 3DTech system. The result is large canvases of a mosaic that can take on almost infinite shapes and shades of colour, which adapts to the building and “dresses” it. The combination of shapes and colours allows the design and construction of opaque façades, brise-soleil façades, a combination of both and many other possibilities.
3DFlex is a dry façade cladding solution (without the need for concrete or any other material that requires drying, curing, etc.). It is a fast-assembly system that therefore reduces construction execution times, improves the energy efficiency of the process and avoids rubble and waste on site. Its format, in sheets that can be folded or rolled up, facilitates transport and storage.
