The theming of a leisure and tourism facility, whether it belongs to a waterpark or theme park, a campsite, a hotel or resort or a shopping centre, always requires a holistic approach. Not only the main decorations, such as façades and pavements, signage and welcome elements, railings, furniture, or the incorporation of artificial rocks and 3D figures, must be taken into account in the theming design. In addition to the above, numerous additional elements must be considered in order to achieve a total immersion of visitors in a unique experience.
Specifically, we refer to the integration of elements, equipment and installations that are fundamental to the functioning and operation of such a water park, theme park, campsite, hotel or resort, or shopping centre. Generally speaking, these are standard components and machinery, present in the catalogues of various suppliers, which must be adapted, camouflaged or integrated into the general theming of these leisure and tourism facilities.
Examples are access control devices, or security equipment (metal detection arches and X-ray scanners for backpacks) at the entrance of the water or theme park, campsite, hotel or resort, or shopping centre. The theming of these elements must comply not only with specific aesthetic requirements, but also with the need to ensure that they do not hinder their proper functioning. Amusement Logic applies solutions, as seen in the images, to integrate the aforementioned elements, in this case by means of an African-inspired ethnic theming, into the thematic ensemble of the installation.
