A large swimming pool serves as a water corridor, the backbone of leisure in an exclusive Southeast Asian resort. The modern suites flow into both sides of the water, between Washingtonian palms that screen the tropical sun. On the turquoise mirrored water, gilded bronze lotus sculptures, like small gems in the refined atmosphere, or dragons, stand guard and bring a unique personality from the local culture to the resort hotel.

That is, in short, the new proposal of Amusement Logic’s Design Department. The luxury experience lies in the details: natural stone walkways at water level, teak sun loungers arranged in the shadows and textured walls. In the evening, submerged LED spotlights cast golden reflections from the lotuses and embellish the atmosphere for private poolside dining.

A little further on, it opens up onto a calm water area, with floating platforms designed to offer guests unique experiences, such as massages or the tea ritual. Local traditions are the backbone of the proposed aquatic space for guests’ leisure, from start to finish, and reinforce the idea that luxury and restful wellbeing do not exclude contact with the environment.
