Online shopping for all kinds of goods and products has become commonplace for many people. According to this method, the customer places the order via an electronic portal and shortly afterwards it arrives at the indicated address.

However, the “click & collect” model works in a different way: according to this shopping method, the order is also placed via the Internet, but the customer has to travel to the warehouse and pick up the purchased goods there. With this method, the online shopping chain saves the entire logistical system of home delivery.

From Amusement Logic, we present the design of a click & collect supermarket. Customers enter the electronic portal, place an order from the existing offer, and indicate a pick-up time. Once the order is received on the premises, the robotic system prepares it. Finally, at the agreed time, customers enter the collection area with their vehicle and there, with the help of a forklift, they receive it. This reduces shopping times and makes the experience more convenient than in a conventional supermarket. At the same time, online commerce in the supermarket sector is encouraged.
