In many hotels, resorts and water parks, swimming pools fulfil their purpose but, over time, lose their ability to surprise swimmers, visitors and guests. Amusement Logic’s Design Department proposes an effective and straightforward solution: not to replace the pools, but to reinterpret them without altering the associated infrastructure.
Floating elements, functional islands, relaxation platforms, gradual access points, lounge areas, small lightweight structures and sculptural features serve to renew the experience for users, tourists and visitors. The pathways within the water are reconfigured with new uses, where previously there was only a continuous expanse of water. The swimming pool ceases to be a void and becomes a landscape.
The proposal also allows for the integration of the corporate identity of the hotel, resort or water park in question. Logos, brand signage and visual elements are incorporated into the platforms, pool bottoms and sculptural features. And not merely as decoration, but as an integral part of the experience for guests and visitors. After all, these are spaces worth photographing, recognisable and shareable. As such, they naturally reinforce brand awareness.
From a technical perspective, these projects are realised using lightweight prefabricated structures, compatible with existing pools. Construction times are minimised, prolonged draining of the pools is avoided, and rapid implementation with high visual impact is achieved.
This is a strategic refurbishment, requiring no major investment, which restores the pool to its former glory, attracts new visitors and transforms it into an active communication tool. A design project tailored for profitability that breathes new life into the old pool.
