Al Khiran park will have a rich and varied vegetation and will include an assortment of outdoor attractions for children, enormous performance areas, cinemas, leisure zones, as well as a range of dining options, private beaches, pools and children’s pools. The shopping centre will incorporate elements that are traditionally Arabic in their design and it will have indoor streets covered in skylights that will provide natural light.

“We believe in Kuwait, in its economic future and its excellent legal systems. The newfound cooperation between the Government and Parliament has given us even more confidence to invest further in Kuwait. Today we have projects worth US$ 2 billion in the pipeline”, stated the president of the Tamdeen Group, Mohammed Jassim Khalid Al Marzouq during a press conference. He added, “Kuwait is recognised as a country that has one of the world’s highest per capita income, meaning the country is well-placed to drive growth across different retail segments”.

Al Khiran aspires to become a commercial and entertainment pillar in the new community in Sabah Al Ahmed Sea City with more than 200,000 people and to be a key tourism driver for Kuwait. It is planned to open at the end of 2018 or beginning of 2019.
